problem solved

culprit: faulty hdmi to vga convertor

well...i forgot that my cpu has a hdmi port, but it wont work. My bad.

I dun have hdmi port on my screen so i couldn't test it.

Is there any other solution I can try? I want to do hdmi-to-vga

i normally use EZCast in the classroom. The classroom only has vga port.

So what I did is i use EZCast, then combine with hdmi-to-vga converter.....

I also have a computer with direct hdmi input. I will try that again and reply you.

my machine is windows 10. Upon installation of ezcast, I was able to mirror cast for a while...then it shuts down by itself. When I re-launch it, it askes for password, then once going in the app stops working.
