Can I also play audio locally when streaming to the remote TV?

Hello
Using EZCast M2 - the streaming works perfectly to HDMI projector. Thank you. :D
Windows 8 to LAN CABLE to WIFI ROUTER to EZCAST DONGLE

However, I am streaming from the Church sound desk computer. I would prefer the audio of the stream to be amplified on our sound system (on the computer speakers), instead of the projector speakers.

Can I play the sound locally on the computer speakers, while the video is streamed remotely to the projector? i.e. to split the audio and video - play audio locally, and video remotely? :?:

Many thanks
Malcolm

Dear Malcolm:

For video streaming, EZCast cannot separate audio and video because the video decompression is done by the dongle.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.

BR,

Hi.!!

recently acquired the cozyswan ezcast i5+ and The problem I have is that I would prefer the audio output from the computer speakers instead of the projector speakers.

Can I play the sound locally on the computer speakers, while the video is streamed remotely to the projector? i.e. to split the audio and video - play audio locally, and video remotely?

From already thank you very much

Dear Jona,

Thanks for using EZCast. For Microsoft XP system, you can play audio locally, and video remotely.
Above XP system for video streaming, EZCast cannot separate audio and video.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.
