Fail to connect to my Router (french connection internet freebox-V6)

Dongle’s SSID: EZMusic#D966C616
Version : EZ15050590
MAC : 8C:18:D9:66:C6:16
FIRMWARE :14818000
Functions: EZmusic Miracast or DLNA wifi connection via router
EZCast OS: Android, Windows,ChromeOS App
Symptom: Fail to connect to my Router (french connection internet freebox-V6)

when I launch the connection to the router, the message no valid IP... appears
is there a solution for IP address, I try MAC record in the DHCP but it does not work

Please try to use our repair tool to repair your music box and retry.
Please refer to https://www.iezvu.com/download_tool_audio.php?l=en&u=2 and follow the steps to reset to default mode.

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue occurring recently.
My EZCast Audio dongle was working perfectly and suddenly it couldn't connect to my wifi router anymore.
I have performed EZCast Audio reset and managed to enter Setup using default 00000000 Wifi password but no chance to make the device to connect to Wifi. The strange thing is that it was working fine but now it cannot connect to any wifi AP.
I have tried from all type of platform and several AP (even Personal Hotspot) but same issue it says:
The issue may come from:
- Password error
- IP conflict
- Connection Timeout

Whenever I tried to perform a hard reboot to enter download mode, laptop cannot detect the device so I am unable to perform a manual update I did follow the steps described here: http://www.iezvu.com/download_tool_audio.php?l=en&u=2

Also, when in setup page sometimes the SSID is disappearing and it looks buggy with more menu appearing (default EZCast mode, etc.) Please advice since I am hopeless.

I try this solution in 3 different computer (win xp, seven and win10) and failed to hard reboot or manual update.
i repeat step 1~2. No detection

What can i do now?

Sorry for the late reply. Please follow our repair tool to reset EZCast Audio to default. We have released a new firmware last month.

I tried your reset solution usb type A to usb type a. Don't work. I updated the Ezmusic. The problem continues. :(
:shock: Strangely the connection to the access point of the tronsmart ezcast works
