EZCast registration - SSID?

Postby JoeClark » Wed Nov 08, 2017 7:56 pm

Hello guys,

I have brought an EZCast dongle. Trying to download the software and it needs me to register first. Then it asks for email and SSID. What does the SSID refer to?
And, what is the best app to use or is it better to download the "phone" software from the EZCast website? ( But it does ask the same SSID question??????)

FYI I have a 1520 with 8.1 ( phone) and laptop also running 8.1

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thanks for using EZCast/
Please power on the dongle with external 5V/1A power adapter. If everything works fine, you will find the SSID and PSK shown on the TV.
You can refer to https://www.iezvu.com/index.php?g=home& ... d=567&l=en for the user manual.
Thanks.

You can easily change the SSID by Accessing the Router Settings which will be really very much helpful The EZcast is really a very good software for transferring to one source to another. SSID is the name of the router which is used to identify the router.
