PopCorn Time & EZCast

Postby Matchless » Fri Jul 10, 2015 6:59 pm

Hi,
I can stream video from my Windows 8.1 PC on PopCorn Time (io) 0.3.8 perfectly with EZCast to my TV while PopCorn Time is downloading the video. You can select the "Watch now" device easily before starting the download.

But when using PopCorn Time (se) 5.3.1 I can see the EZCast dongle if I click on the bottom far right icon once the video starts playing, but it does not play on the TV although the icon responds to the click.
Not sure if I have to do something different or if its a bug in 5.3.1. Anyway anly making this selection only available after you have downloded the first buffer is a bit silly.
Can anyone clarify this ?

Hi Youanwei,

Here it is:
https://popcorntime.io/ This one has Popcorn Time Beta 3.8 This works for me
http://popcorn-time.se/ This one has Beta 5.3.1 This one detects EZCast but does then not stream to TV

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I am running on Windows 8.1 PC, UTP cable to Wifi ADSL Router

It works great, but the subtitles are not displayed on my TV Samsung, is there any way to display them or I could explain how.
