When trying to play videos or music I got "Error# content not found!" tried several video formats and music was normal mp3.
EZCannel, radio and mirroring works fine without problem.

How can I solve this problem?

local ver.15474000 for EZCast2.0
connected via wifi router.
Windows 10 lenovo t410 laptop.

Can there be something wrong with ezcast basic settings? or my windows 10 laptop settings? Is there anything I can do to help solve this problem?

I try your files on my windows 10 laptop, there is no problem in playing both video and music.
Please save this files to your laptop, click Music, find the files you save and add it into playlist. There is a "music+" icon on the right top of playlist.
Please also save the video files to your laptop, turn on click Video, find your video and enjoy it.

This was exactly what I tried in first place, but not working. It was clear that videos or music files were ok but still "Error# content not found" comes on tv screen.



Those same videos works with my other playpack device (IP tv box with features) ok and cannot figure out what is wrong with this ezcast system, specially because other functions work fine in ezcast+dongle.

Is it possible that there is some limitation in this dongle? I got this dongle with subscriber gift from my magazine company.

I had to install ezcast software to another computer and rule out some possibilities.

Problem solved. I reinstalled ezcast software and reconfigured firewall settings. I think main reason was windows firewall settings.

There is some issues with video formats, some formats not supported and some cases when trying to seek (fast forwarding) it jams the dongle and ezcast software.

I suggest you try to implement somekind of watchdog function to avoid total jamming because hardreset way is not way to go

I assembled my dongle stationary to my entertainment system and its not a easy task to reset the dongle.

Dongle’s SSID: EZCast-12345678, for example (or photo the bootup image for us)
Functions: EZCast(Photo, Camera, Video, the Web, ……), Airplay, Miracast or DLNA
EZCast OS: Android, iOS, Windows, Windows Phone, Mac, or ChromeOS App
Symptom: Fail to install, App crash, Fail to stream, Fail to mirror……
