Unable to connect "No Device"

Postby Jason Serdy » Sun Apr 14, 2019 10:25 pm

Hello, I desperately need help. Could someone please walk me through the steps of hooking this up. It is the EZCast MiraPlug. I have watched the installation videos, I have obviously used the instruction manual. But something isn't working properly. I have a Galaxy S7 and I have done everything I know to do. My Wi-Fi network is working just fine. I go through the steps and cannot get the mirroring to work.
Ugh, I wish I could actually SPEAK to someone. I am actually pretty good with technology so I don't know why this is not working for me. I hope part of the issue is not that when I have it plugged into my TV it goes in and out every now and then (like it's a bad ezcast part).
But anyway, starting from the beginning would someone be so kind as to tell me step by step what I should be doing and what my result should be?

I don't get past the tethering part because I don't know what I'm supposed to do with my phone. It will not do the USB debugging (it stays on the screen that says this may take a few seconds for up to an hour) so I try the tethering and nothing happens with that either...unless I'm doing the tethering one wrong.
When the tv screen comes up it has check Mark's next to the tethering but in the top right corner the phone to plug symbol has an X so no connection. I don't know what at to do.

Any and all help would be SO appreciated!!

Android user please turn on the developer option and USB debug.
If it only show wait for a few seconds but not respond after 10 seconds, it may cause to the data cable damage or the connection is not stable.
We suggest you change a new data cable and make sure the connection of your phone's USB port is stable.
This condition may also caused the damage of your phone USB port damaged.
Another way we suggest turn on USB tethering by EZCast App.
USB tethering could be turn on while detect USB connection, if your couldn't turn on USB tethering, it may due to the data cable damage too.
